Terms and Conditions
Insurance: Clients are required to hold insurance cover for both
public liability and general cover. Any equipment, valuables, props
or items not belonging to the location are used and left on the
premises at the Client’s own risk. Client to ensure their property,
staff, guests and equipment are fully covered by insurance. The
Owner and Shootspaces cannot be held responsible for any loss,
damage or injury to the aforementioned. The full cost of all repairs
or replacement to anything damaged in the location, (including
wooden floors) will be charged to the client.
Children & Animals: One adult per child to accompany children on
location. No animals unless agreed in advance.
Props:
With prior consent all furnishing and equipment in the location
can be used as props.
House
Rules: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that
everyone is aware of the house rules. Check with the owner at the
start of the shoot. The client must make sure furniture and
equipment is not dragged across floors. No stiletto or high heels
may be worn or used on wooden floors. All photographic equipment
must be protected against damage to wooden floors.
Working
hours: Location working hours for a full day of stills are
between 9am and 6pm. A Half day shoot is from 9am to 1pm or 2pm to
6pm. Overtime will be charged at £100.00 per hour. Weekends and
Bank Holidays on application
Crews:
Stills shoots consist of no more than 15 people on set. It does
not include trucks, catering tables or more than 2 vehicles. If
these figures run over costs need to be negotiated.
Access:
Access will be granted to the above property during the period
booked. The Client will have the right to produce still photography
for use in publicity, book publishing or merchandising and to
represent the location as being either another real or fictional
place according to the requirements of the production.
Should
exceptional circumstances such as fire, flooding or force majeure
occur that are wholly beyond the control of the Owner and
Shootspaces, which would prevent the use of the location, the Owner
and Shootspaces shall be entitled to cancel this contract. In these
circumstances neither the Owner nor Shootspaces shall be liable for
any consequential loss suffered by this Client.
Viewing: Please view the location before you book a shoot. If
we can we will advise you of changes.
Clients
are requested to ensure that appointments that have been set up for
viewing are kept. Should a team not be able to make an appointment
or be late, please advise Shootspaces as soon as possible. The
interior and gardens of locations will vary as the owner’s make
changes to their homes by updating or changing furniture.
Shootspaces and the Owner cannot be held responsible if the location
does not look exactly like the photos on the web site. Under no
circumstances are the owners of the houses to be contacted directly
by the client or a production company/manager.
Decoration: Decoration only on application. If permission is
granted, please use professional set builders. Client will be held
responsible for restoring the location to the condition in which
they found it, including repainting or repairing walls and returning
furniture/props etc to their original location.
The Client
will be held responsible for the loss or damage in any part of the
location or its contents.
Client’s equipment: The client must make arrangements in advance
for storing props and furniture overnight that is satisfactory to
the owner of the property.
Cancellation: Cancellation of confirmed bookings: 48 hours prior
@ 50%, 24 hours prior @ 100%. |
